We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing Officer to support the promotion and distribution of our publications.

Position Summary

The Marketing Officer will promote and sell the organization’s publications while expanding market reach and strengthening customer relationships. The successful candidate will actively engage clients, support book distribution activities, and contribute to achieving sales targets.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong communication skills, a passion for books, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell books and other published materials to individuals, institutions, churches, and retailers
• Identify and develop new market opportunities for book distribution and sales growth
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and build new customer networks
• Conduct regular field visits to promote products and secure sales
• Prepare and submit accurate sales reports and market feedback
• Support marketing campaigns, book fairs, and promotional events
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions
• Drive company vehicle for field marketing and distribution activities where necessary
• Ensure excellent customer service and professional representation of the organization

Qualification Required & Experience

Applicants must possess:

• HND or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field
• Strong interest and affinity for selling books and publishing products
• Valid driving license
• Excellent communication and report writing skills
• Strong interpersonal and analytical abilities
• Ability to work long hours and meet strict deadlines
• High level of motivation, discipline, and customer service orientation
• Applicants must not be above 30 years of age
