We are seeking a proactive, strategic, and results-driven Business Development Officer to join our team and support the company’s business growth and partnership development initiatives.

Position Summary

The Business Development Officer will identify and develop new business opportunities, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and support strategic initiatives that enhance the organization’s market presence within the healthcare sector. The successful candidate will contribute to driving sustainable growth through effective client engagement, market analysis, and partnership development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to support organizational growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement business development and sales strategies to increase market presence.
  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify emerging opportunities.
  • Prepare business proposals, presentations, and partnership documentation.
  • Promote the company’s healthcare services and solutions to prospective clients and partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Support contract negotiations and partnership discussions.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, business opportunities, and market developments.
  • Represent the company at meetings, networking events, and stakeholder engagements when required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of working experience in business development or sales.
  • Previous experience working within the health sector will be highly valued.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and business reporting tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
