We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Plant Operator to support Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) operations and plastic/polywelding activities within our mining operations.

Position Summary

The Plant Operator will operate, monitor, and maintain TSF systems and carry out plastics and polywelding works to support safe tailings management and site infrastructure integrity. The successful candidate will ensure operational efficiency, safety compliance, and high-quality workmanship in all assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) systems in line with operational procedures.
• Perform plastics and polywelding activities for pipelines, liners, and related infrastructure.
• Inspect TSF facilities and report any leaks, damages, or operational irregularities.
• Support installation, repair, and maintenance of HDPE pipelines and associated systems.
• Ensure safe handling and operation of welding and plant equipment.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and operational standards strictly.
• Maintain accurate records of TSF operations, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Assist in routine maintenance and shutdown activities when required.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure system reliability.
• Support emergency response activities related to TSF operations when necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant technical field.
• Experience in plant operations, TSF operations, or industrial maintenance will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of plastics welding, polywelding, or HDPE pipeline systems is preferred.
• Ability to work in a mining or heavy industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and operational protocols.
