Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our offshore operations team in Accra on a full-time basis. You will support the planning, coordination, and execution of offshore operational and engineering activities while ensuring compliance with safety, technical, and project management standards.
The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to maintain efficient project delivery and operational performance within a dynamic offshore environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate offshore operational and engineering project activities to ensure timely execution
- Support project planning, scheduling, and reporting processes
- Monitor project progress and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with offshore safety regulations and company operational standards
- Maintain accurate project documentation, technical records, and operational reports
- Collaborate with engineering, marine, and operations teams to support project objectives
- Participate in risk assessments, safety meetings, and operational planning sessions
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency programs
Qualification Required & Experience
Candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Meets STCW Code A-III/2 standard (Chief Engineer / Second Engineer)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience on offshore installations or seagoing service as Chief Engineer
- Valid certification in Bridge Resource Management (BRM)
- Valid certification in High Voltage Management – A-III/6
- Valid certification in Human Element, Leadership and Management (A-II/1, A-II/2, A-III/1, A-III/2, A-III/6)
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
