Role Overview

We are seeking a results-oriented Sales Manager to lead our sales operations and drive revenue growth within the mining and construction industries. In this role, you will develop strategic sales initiatives, secure high-value contracts, and build strong relationships with key industry stakeholders. You will also lead and support the sales team to achieve ambitious business targets.


Key Responsibilities

You will take ownership of sales performance and business development across key markets:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Design and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed company revenue targets.
  • Business Development: Identify, pursue, and secure equipment placement contracts within the mining and construction sectors.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, contractors, and industry stakeholders.
  • Negotiation & Deal Closure: Lead commercial negotiations, prepare compelling proposals, and successfully close high-value business deals.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct continuous market research and monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, supervise, and motivate the sales team to ensure consistent achievement of performance targets.
  • Reporting & Planning: Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and strategic business development plans for management review.
  • Industry Representation: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking engagements to strengthen brand visibility.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure excellent customer experience through effective after-sales support and service delivery.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in sales or business development roles.
  • Proven experience within the mining and construction industries is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in Sales or Marketing will be an added advantage.
  • Strong professional network within the mining and construction sectors.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and consistently deliver targets.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
