We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Basic 2 Teacher to join our academic team in Tema. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, delivering engaging lessons, and supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of pupils.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver effective lessons in line with the school’s curriculum.
• Assess and monitor pupils’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, and classroom activities.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Manage classroom behavior positively and effectively.
• Support pupils’ personal development, creativity, and confidence.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding pupil progress.
• Participate in staff meetings, school events, training programs, and extracurricular activities as required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching qualification and registration with the relevant professional body.
• Previous experience teaching at the lower primary level is an advantage.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Passion for teaching young learners and nurturing their development.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
