Program Coordination & Operations Support Officer (Full-Time)

Location: Accra
Company Profile: KOICA Ghana Office (KGO) is committed to promoting international development cooperation through capacity building, youth leadership development, and cross-border collaboration programmes across Ghana and partner countries.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Program Coordination & Operations Support Officer to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of youth leadership and capacity-building programmes. The successful candidate will manage participant coordination, training support, stakeholder engagement, and logistics operations for multi-country programme activities.

Key Responsibilities

Participant Coordination Support

  • Support the recruitment and selection of approximately 200 youth leaders from Ghana and neighboring countries.
  • Maintain clear, timely, and transparent communication with applicants and participants.

Curriculum and Training Support

  • Support the implementation of online and in-person training programmes.
  • Assist in facilitating training sessions in Leadership & Policy Development and AI & Digital ICT Entrepreneurship.

Stakeholder Liaison

  • Coordinate effectively with partner institutions and implementing organizations.
  • Liaise with relevant government agencies and programme stakeholders.

Logistics and Operations Management

  • Coordinate venue bookings, accommodation, and transportation for programme activities.
  • Support logistical arrangements for international participants and facilitators.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operational execution of programme activities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Program Coordination, Logistics Administration, Public Administration, Development Studies, or a related field.
  • Available for immediate commencement of work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to prepare administrative documents and reports efficiently.
  • Experience in workshop coordination, training support, event management, or administrative operations is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
  • Must comply with KOICA’s local staff recruitment regulations and must not be disqualified under them.

Employment Conditions

  • Contract Duration: 1 year (non-renewable), including a 3-month probation period
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00
  • Salary: To be determined upon negotiation
  • Duty Station: KOICA Ghana Office (KGO)
