Role Overview
As a Cleaner, you will play an important role in ensuring that workspaces, facilities, and common areas remain clean, hygienic, and presentable at all times. Your contribution will help create a safe and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and stakeholders.
The successful candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a strong commitment to cleanliness and workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Clean and maintain offices, work areas, restrooms, corridors, and other assigned spaces.
- Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and sanitize designated areas regularly.
- Empty waste bins and dispose of waste in accordance with company procedures.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and report shortages when necessary.
- Ensure washrooms and common areas remain clean, stocked, and hygienic throughout the day.
- Clean windows, doors, furniture, and other surfaces as assigned.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Follow cleaning schedules and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Handle cleaning equipment and materials safely and responsibly.
- Comply with all workplace health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Support general housekeeping activities as required.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
You should possess:
- A minimum of Senior High School (SHS) qualification or its equivalent.
Experience
You should have:
- A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in cleaning, housekeeping, facility maintenance, or a related role.
- Experience maintaining cleanliness in offices, industrial facilities, commercial premises, or similar environments will be an advantage.
Additional Requirement
- Ability to read and understand basic instructions, safety guidelines, and workplace notices.
