We are seeking a welcoming, energetic, and detail-oriented Credit Officer – AIM to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary link between BRAC International and young women entrepreneurs in the Swedru and Abura Dunkwa communities. You will foster a supportive environment, manage daily financial operations, and guide participants as they build independent, empowered lives.
Key Responsibilities
As a Credit Officer for the AIM programme, you will actively manage field and administrative operations to ensure excellent service delivery:
- Foster a Welcoming Environment: Create an inclusive, respectful, and encouraging space for young women and community members engaging with the AIM programme.
- Manage Financial Transactions: Execute daily cash and bank transactions accurately, ensuring full compliance with our financial guidelines and client protection principles.
- Prepare Cash Requisitions: Draft and manage timely cash requisition documents to maintain smooth operational flow at the branch level.
- Support Customer Onboarding: Assist clients through the application, micro-loan disbursement, and repayment processes with transparency and care.
- Maintain Records: Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to keep accurate, organized, and up-to-date digital records of all credit operations and client data.
Job Requirements
Educational Qualifications
- Minimum Requirement: Senior High School (SHS) Certificate.
Experience & Technical Skills
- Experience: At least one (1) year of active experience working within a financial institution (microfinance, banking, or credit unions).
- Financial Skills: Proven experience in handling cash operations, bank transactions, and preparing cash requisitions.
- Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel for data entry and reporting.
