We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Senior Digital Account Manager to lead key client relationships, drive digital excellence, and oversee the successful delivery of integrated marketing campaigns. Position Summary

The Senior Digital Account Manager will serve as the strategic lead for assigned client accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery, commercial performance, and long-term client growth. The successful candidate will build trusted client partnerships, lead cross-functional teams, drive campaign effectiveness, and identify opportunities to expand client engagement across the agency’s service offerings.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

Client Leadership & Relationship Management

  • Own senior-level client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for strategic account management.
  • Build strong, trusted partnerships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Provide proactive guidance and strategic recommendations that align with client business objectives.
  • Ensure consistently high levels of client satisfaction, responsiveness, and service excellence.
  • Lead account reviews, strategic planning sessions, and business performance discussions.

Digital Strategy & Campaign Management

  • Develop digital account strategies that support client growth objectives and business priorities.
  • Translate client goals into clear, measurable, and results-driven campaign plans.
  • Collaborate with strategy, creative, media, production, and analytics teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Oversee campaign execution to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with client expectations.
  • Drive campaign optimisation through data analysis, insights, and continuous performance improvements.

Performance & Reporting

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across client portfolios.
  • Design reporting frameworks that provide meaningful business insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Evaluate campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve effectiveness and return on investment.
  • Present performance reports and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders and clients.

Commercial & Financial Management

  • Manage account budgets, revenue forecasts, profitability targets, and financial reporting.
  • Monitor financial performance to ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets and agreed margins.
  • Identify opportunities for organic account growth, upselling, and cross-selling agency services.
  • Support business development initiatives and contribute to revenue generation objectives.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop Digital Account Managers and account teams.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and professional development support.
  • Encourage innovation, strategic thinking, and excellence in client service delivery.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Success in this role will be measured by:

  • Consistent achievement of account-level campaign KPIs and business objectives.
  • Delivery of at least 95% of projects on time and within budget.
  • Growth in account revenue, profitability, and client retention.
  • Budget variance maintained within approved thresholds.
  • High levels of client satisfaction and stakeholder confidence.
  • Strong team engagement, development, and performance outcomes.
  • Successful identification and conversion of growth opportunities within existing accounts.

Qualifications and Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Advertising, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional certifications in digital marketing, account management, or project management will be an advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum of seven (7) to nine (9) years of experience within a digital, creative, media, or integrated marketing agency environment.
  • Proven track record of managing complex client portfolios and leading account management teams.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing digital marketing strategies that drive measurable results.
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasting revenue, and maintaining account profitability.
  • Strong background in client leadership and senior stakeholder engagement.
