We are seeking a reliable, trustworthy, and caring Domestic Assistant to support the day-to-day management of a private household in Sefwi Paboase. Position Summary

The Domestic Assistant will be responsible for household cleaning, childcare support, laundry, meal preparation assistance, and running errands as required. The role requires a dependable individual with good personal hygiene, strong work ethics, and a positive attitude toward service and caregiving.

Key Responsibilities

Household Cleaning & Maintenance

• Clean and maintain a two-bedroom apartment and its surrounding environment.
• Ensure all living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen spaces are kept neat, organized, and hygienic.
• Perform routine housekeeping duties to maintain a comfortable home environment.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and notify the household when replenishment is required.

Childcare Support

• Assist with the care and supervision of children as required.
• Support daily routines and help maintain a safe and nurturing environment.
• Engage with children in a caring, responsible, and respectful manner.
• Report any concerns relating to the well-being of the children promptly.

Laundry & Household Support

• Wash, dry, iron, and properly organize clothing and household linens.
• Ensure laundry tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Assist with general household organization and upkeep.

Errands & General Assistance

• Run household errands as assigned.
• Support the household with routine tasks and day-to-day activities.
• Assist with grocery shopping and other household purchases when required.

Meal Preparation Support

• Assist with food preparation and basic cooking duties.
• Support kitchen cleanliness and proper food handling practices.
• Help maintain a hygienic and organized kitchen environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

• BECE, SSCE, WASSCE, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience performing household duties or related responsibilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, Twi, and Ewe.
• Strong understanding of housekeeping and childcare responsibilities.
• Good personal hygiene and grooming standards.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Must provide two referees as part of the application process.
