Position Summary

As the Security Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the hotel’s security operations, ensuring a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, contractors, and visitors. You will implement security policies, manage security personnel, respond to incidents, and promote a culture of safety, vigilance, and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

• Lead and supervise the hotel’s security operations to maintain a safe and secure environment at all times.
• Develop, implement, and monitor security policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.
• Supervise, train, and support security personnel to ensure high standards of performance and professionalism.
• Conduct regular security inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits across the property.
• Monitor security systems, access controls, surveillance equipment, and incident reporting processes.
• Investigate security incidents, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate emergency response activities and ensure staff are familiar with safety and evacuation procedures.
• Work closely with department heads to identify and address security risks and operational vulnerabilities.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, security standards, and company policies.
• Build positive relationships with law enforcement agencies and other relevant stakeholders when required.
• Promote a security-conscious culture while maintaining a welcoming and customer-focused environment for guests.
• Perform other duties that support the safety, security, and smooth operation of the hotel.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A minimum of two (2) to five (5) years of relevant experience in security management, hotel security, or a related field.
• Experience leading security teams and managing security operations within the hospitality industry will be an advantage.
• A sound understanding of security operations, risk management, and emergency response procedures.
• Knowledge of workplace safety standards, security regulations, and industry best practices.
• Relevant professional training or certification in security management, occupational health and safety, or a related discipline will be an added advantage.
