We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. This role is ideal for an individual who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and enjoys contributing to outstanding guest experiences.

Position Overview

As a Room Attendant, you will play an essential role in ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation. You will help create a welcoming environment that enhances the guest experience and reflects the quality and excellence associated with Villa Monticello.

The successful candidate will be reliable, organized, and committed to delivering exceptional service through attention to detail and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and prepare guest rooms according to established hotel standards.
  • Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities.
  • Ensure guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and assigned areas are clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
  • Inspect rooms to ensure quality standards are met before guest arrival.
  • Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns promptly.
  • Respond professionally and courteously to guest requests when required.
  • Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and cleaning supplies in an organized manner.
  • Follow health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards consistently.
  • Assist with deep-cleaning activities and special housekeeping projects as assigned.
  • Support the housekeeping team in maintaining a positive and efficient work environment.
  • Ensure lost-and-found procedures are followed accurately.
  • Contribute to creating a comfortable, welcoming, and memorable experience for every guest.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Senior High School Certificate, Vocational Certificate, or equivalent qualification is preferred.

Experience

  • Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning services, hospitality, or a related role is an advantage.
  • Experience working in a hotel, guest house, serviced apartment, or hospitality environment will be highly regarded.
  • Candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
