Position Overview
As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for supervising service machines across assigned locations, monitoring operational performance, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring accurate reporting and accountability standards.
You will play a key role in driving operational effectiveness, supporting revenue growth, and maintaining strong controls across business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Supervise and monitor service machines at designated operational locations.
- Ensure all machines operate efficiently and consistently meet performance expectations.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor operational activities and identify improvement opportunities.
- Resolve operational issues promptly to minimize disruptions and downtime.
- Maintain high standards of operational compliance and accountability.
Business Development & Site Evaluation
- Identify potential hotspot locations for business expansion and growth.
- Conduct due diligence assessments on prospective sites.
- Evaluate business opportunities and provide recommendations based on operational and commercial viability.
- Support the implementation of approved expansion initiatives.
Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Prepare detailed operational and sales reports for management review.
- Verify sales records, bank deposits, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and accountability.
- Monitor key performance indicators and identify trends affecting business performance.
- Provide timely and evidence-based insights to support decision-making.
Compliance & Financial Accountability
- Ensure proper verification of financial records and operational documentation.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting systems.
- Support internal controls and accountability measures across all assigned locations.
- Escalate discrepancies or operational concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Diploma, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Marketing, Management, or a related field is preferred.
Experience
- Previous experience in operations management, business development, field supervision, retail operations, or a similar role is an advantage.
- Experience managing multiple operational locations and preparing performance reports will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and deliver measurable results.
