Position: CIC/OT Supervisor

Mac Engineering is seeking an experienced and results-driven CIC/OT Supervisor to lead the maintenance, reliability, and performance of control, instrumentation, communication, and operational technology systems. The successful candidate will supervise technical teams, coordinate maintenance activities, and ensure the safe and efficient operation of critical automation and control systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of CIC/OT systems and equipment.
• Lead and support technicians in troubleshooting instrumentation, control, communication, and automation-related issues.
• Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and availability.
• Monitor system performance and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Review technical reports, maintenance records, and work orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate equipment commissioning, testing, upgrades, and system improvements.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and performance support to team members.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to achieve operational objectives.
• Identify risks, recommend corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, Higher National Diploma (HND), or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Automation Engineering, Industrial Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience in instrumentation, automation, control systems, operational technology (OT), or industrial maintenance, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, SCADA systems, industrial networks, instrumentation, and process control systems.
• Demonstrated leadership, team management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, engineering specifications, and system documentation.
• Strong communication, organizational, and reporting skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in maintenance planning and performance monitoring.
