Human Resources (HR) Officer (Full-Time)

Position: Summary

Hala-GH is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Officer to support the effective delivery of HR operations and people management processes. The successful candidate will drive recruitment support, employee relations, HR administration, and compliance with labour regulations while promoting a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure proper HR documentation and filing.
  • Assist in payroll preparation and HR data management.
  • Support performance management processes, including appraisal coordination and tracking.
  • Handle employee relations matters and support conflict resolution processes.
  • Ensure compliance with Ghana Labour Laws and internal HR policies.
  • Coordinate employee engagement and welfare initiatives.
  • Assist in training and development activities.
  • Prepare HR reports and provide administrative support to management.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and professional work environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant HR experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Ghana Labour Laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate high professionalism.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience within the Retail, Sales, Telecom, Finance, or Consumer Electronics sectors.
  • Exposure to payroll administration and performance management systems.
