Warehouse Assistant (Pharmaceutical Warehouse)

About the Role

A reputable pharmaceutical company is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and hardworking Warehouse Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of its warehouse facility. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of pharmaceutical products while maintaining high standards of inventory control, safety, and regulatory compliance.

This position is ideal for candidates with a background in Medicines Counter Assistant (MCA) training and an interest in warehouse and supply chain operations within the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and properly store pharmaceutical products and related supplies.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and movement of stock within the warehouse.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct routine stock counts and support inventory reconciliation activities.
• Ensure products are stored according to company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain accurate inventory and warehouse records.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse safety procedures and good storage practices.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and orderliness within the warehouse.
• Support periodic audits and stock verification exercises.
• Work closely with the procurement, sales, and logistics teams to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• MCA (Medicines Counter Assistant) Certificate is required.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or pharmaceutical distribution will be an advantage.
• Basic understanding of pharmaceutical products and storage requirements.
• Ability to perform physical warehouse duties, including lifting and moving stock when necessary.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management processes.
• Good numerical and record-keeping skills.
