Role Purpose
The Senior Account Manager will drive revenue growth and strengthen strategic customer relationships across the Ashanti, Bono, and Ahafo regions. The successful candidate will develop and execute account growth strategies, deliver consultative sales solutions, and position Telecel Ghana as a trusted business partner for enterprise customers. This role requires a commercially minded professional with strong relationship management, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regional contact strategies and Account Development Plans (ADPs) for assigned enterprise accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders across customer organizations.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of customers’ business objectives and effectively communicate Telecel Enterprise’s value proposition at executive and board level.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and drive sustainable revenue growth through cross-selling and upselling initiatives.
- Deliver consultative sales solutions that align with customer needs and business priorities.
- Integrate quality management principles and processes into all account management and sales activities.
- Monitor account performance using key business and commercial metrics and implement corrective actions to achieve or exceed targets.
- Ensure compliance with telecommunications licensing requirements, industry regulations, company policies, and competition laws.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account information and provide timely reports to support sales planning, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer experiences and ensure successful solution implementation.
- Identify skills gaps and development opportunities for both self and the virtual account team and actively support continuous learning and capability building.
- Represent Telecel Ghana professionally at customer meetings, business engagements, and industry events.
Qualifications and Experience
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies, Marketing, Sales, Management, or a related field.
Professional Experience
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in sales, account management, or business development within enterprise solutions.
- Telecommunications industry experience will be a significant advantage.
- Demonstrated success in managing and growing strategic customer accounts.
- Proven experience in consultative selling and solution-based sales approaches.
- Strong understanding of enterprise customer needs and business relationship management.
