Position Summary

Multithread ICT is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Developer to join our growing development team in Accra.

The successful candidate will support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications while learning modern development practices and working alongside experienced engineers. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to grow their technical expertise and contribute to real-world ICT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, testing, and deployment of software applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code under the guidance of senior developers.
• Participate in system design discussions and contribute ideas to improve application performance.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in existing systems.
• Support the maintenance and enhancement of web and software applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and deliver solutions.
• Learn and apply modern programming languages, frameworks, and development tools.
• Participate in code reviews and continuously improve coding standards.
• Document technical processes, code changes, and system updates.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn, unlearn, and adapt to evolving technologies.

Qualifications and Requirements

• HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field.
• Strong logical and analytical thinking skills.
• Basic understanding of programming concepts and software development principles.
• Willingness to learn, unlearn, and grow in a fast-paced technical environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
