Position Summary

Central University invites applications from accomplished academics and distinguished professionals for the position of Professor – Physiology.

The successful candidate will provide strategic academic leadership in the teaching, research, and advancement of Physiology within the University. The role requires a highly experienced scholar with a strong commitment to academic excellence, research innovation, student mentorship, and institutional development.

As a Professor, you will contribute significantly to the University’s mission by advancing scientific knowledge, enhancing teaching and learning, and supporting the development of future healthcare professionals and researchers.

Educational and Professional Requirements

Applicants must possess:

• A minimum of a PhD in Physiology or a relevant discipline from a recognized institution.

OR

• For clinicians, a minimum of a membership certificate from a recognized professional body.

In addition, applicants must have:

• At least twenty-four (24) publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
• A demonstrated record of excellence in teaching, research, and scholarly contributions.
• Experience in supervising undergraduate and postgraduate research.
• Evidence of academic leadership and professional achievement within higher education or a related field.
