We are seeking dedicated, safety-conscious, and skilled professionals to join our team as Height Workers / Welders (Working at Height) to support factory construction, installation, and maintenance activities.
Position Summary
The Height Worker / Welder will perform welding, construction, installation, and maintenance activities at elevated work locations while adhering to established safety standards and operational procedures. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting factory construction projects, steel structure installations, equipment assembly, and maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Perform welding, fabrication, installation, and maintenance work in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Carry out assigned tasks safely while working at heights and in construction environments.
- Support factory construction activities, including steel structure works, equipment installation, and related engineering projects.
- Operate welding machines, power tools, lifting equipment, and other machinery safely and efficiently.
- Inspect work areas, tools, and equipment before use to ensure compliance with safety requirements.
- Assist supervisors, engineers, and project teams in achieving project milestones and operational objectives.
- Identify and report potential safety hazards, equipment defects, and operational risks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow company policies, workplace safety regulations, and standard operating procedures at all times.
- Participate in safety training, toolbox meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Relevant work experience in welding, construction, manufacturing, industrial maintenance, or a related technical field.
- Demonstrated ability to perform tasks safely while working at heights.
- Experience operating welding equipment, power tools, and other construction-related machinery.
- Good understanding of workplace health, safety, and environmental practices.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- The ability to work in physically demanding environments and meet project deadlines.
Educational Requirements
- Minimum of a Senior High School Certificate, Technical/Vocational Certificate, or equivalent qualification.
- Formal training in Welding, Fabrication, Metal Works, Construction Technology, or a related field will be an advantage.
Preferred Certifications
- Any other relevant technical or trade certification
