ADMINISTRATOR (FULL-TIME)

Location: Labone, Accra, Ghana
Employment Type: Full-Time

We are a reputable law firm based in Labone, Accra, committed to delivering high-quality legal services with integrity, professionalism, and efficiency. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team and support the firm’s financial, operational, and administrative functions.

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth office operations, accurate financial management, and effective administrative coordination across departments.


Key Responsibilities

You will:

Financial & Accounting Management

  • Handle the full spectrum of financial and cost accounting functions, including forecasting, budgeting, cost tracking, monitoring, and control.
  • Prepare monthly operational reports, budgets, and financial statements for management review.
  • Monitor income and expenditure to ensure compliance with approved financial plans.
  • Develop and maintain systems for cost analysis and early identification of potential cost overruns.
  • Reconcile balance sheets, bank statements, ledgers, payroll accounts, and journal entries.
  • Ensure Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet accounts reflect accurate and fair financial positions monthly.
  • Prepare financial statements for external audit and support audit processes.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors and support audit-related activities.
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable functions, including debt tracking and recovery support.
  • Oversee payroll processing, including statutory deductions and related obligations.

Tax & Regulatory Compliance

  • Manage all tax-related matters to ensure full compliance with Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) requirements.
  • Ensure timely payments and compliance with SSNIT and Tier 2 pension contributions.
  • Liaise with relevant government agencies to meet all statutory financial obligations.

Administrative & Office Management

  • Supervise administrative staff and ensure effective office operations.
  • Develop and implement efficient administrative and records management systems.
  • Organize and chair administrative meetings and report outcomes to management.
  • Support general office coordination and ensure adherence to internal procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants must possess:

  • An HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong experience in financial administration, accounting, or office management roles is required.
