Guest Service Officer / Front Desk Officer

Location: Accra, Ghana
Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and service-oriented Guest Service Officer / Front Desk Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and providing excellent customer service throughout their experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly and create a positive first impression of the organization.
  • Manage guest check-ins, check-outs, and reservation processes efficiently.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns.
  • Provide accurate information about facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Handle telephone calls, emails, and other communication channels professionally.
  • Maintain accurate guest records and update relevant information in company systems.
  • Process payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate transaction records.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Resolve guest complaints effectively and escalate complex issues when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk environment.
  • Support administrative duties and prepare reports as required by management.

Educational Requirements

  • Ordinary National Diploma (OND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Tourism Management, or a related field.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in guest services, front desk operations, customer service, or a related hospitality role.
  • Experience working in a hotel, guest house, resort, or hospitality environment will be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
