We are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Product Support Sales Representative to strengthen customer relationships and drive the growth of our aftermarket products and support services.

Position Summary

The Product Support Sales Representative will promote and sell product support solutions, including spare parts, maintenance contracts, equipment inspections, and service agreements. The successful candidate will build strong customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and work closely with internal teams to deliver value-added solutions that improve customer equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and implement sales plans to grow product support revenue within assigned customer accounts.
  • Identify opportunities to promote spare parts, service agreements, maintenance contracts, and equipment support solutions.
  • Generate new business while expanding relationships with existing customers.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to business growth.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers across the mining, construction, and industrial sectors.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to understand operational needs and recommend appropriate support solutions.
  • Respond promptly to customer enquiries and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Provide professional advice on maintenance, equipment performance, and aftermarket solutions.

Product Support Coordination

  • Collaborate with service, parts, and technical teams to ensure timely delivery of customer solutions.
  • Coordinate equipment inspections and follow up on recommended repairs and maintenance opportunities.
  • Ensure customers receive accurate quotations, product information, and technical support.

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve market penetration and customer retention.
  • Provide market feedback to support product development and sales strategies.

Reporting & Administration

  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities using the company’s CRM systems.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, customer reports, and business performance updates.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and established sales processes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in product support sales, technical sales, customer service, or aftermarket solutions within the heavy equipment, mining, construction, or industrial sector will be an advantage.
  • Good understanding of heavy equipment, spare parts, maintenance planning, or engineering services is desirable.
  • Proven ability to build strong customer relationships and achieve sales targets.
