Key Responsibilities
Strategic Project Management
As Project Lead, you will:
- Lead the full project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
- Develop project charters, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and implementation strategies.
- Ensure all projects align with organisational goals, business priorities, and strategic objectives.
- Establish effective project governance structures, reporting frameworks, and performance monitoring systems.
- Drive accountability and ensure successful project delivery across all assigned initiatives.
Construction & Infrastructure Projects
You will:
- Manage housing developments, road projects, drainage systems, and civil engineering initiatives.
- Coordinate contractors, consultants, architects, engineers, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor construction quality, project timelines, and budget performance.
- Ensure compliance with building regulations, engineering standards, and contractual requirements.
- Resolve project challenges and implement corrective actions to maintain delivery standards.
Energy Projects
You will:
- Manage energy-related projects, including fuel infrastructure, engineering, maintenance, and operational initiatives.
- Coordinate project activities in line with industry regulations, safety requirements, and operational standards.
- Support business expansion initiatives within the energy sector.
- Ensure project readiness, operational continuity, and effective resource utilisation.
Logistics & Freight Projects
You will:
- Lead logistics improvement projects and supply chain optimisation initiatives.
- Coordinate transportation, warehousing, customs clearance, and freight operations.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
- Support digital transformation and process automation initiatives within logistics operations.
Budget & Cost Management
You will:
- Develop project budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Monitor project expenditure against approved budgets.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
- Manage procurement activities, contractor costs, and financial controls.
- Ensure projects deliver strong commercial value.
Quality Assurance
You will:
- Ensure projects meet approved specifications, quality standards, and performance requirements.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and project performance reviews.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Reduce project risks, defects, delays, and rework.
Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ)
You will:
- Promote a strong safety culture across all project operations.
- Ensure compliance with Ghanaian regulations, industry standards, and company HSEQ policies.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety reviews, and compliance audits.
- Investigate incidents and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
Stakeholder Management
You will:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulators, contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Provide regular project updates, reports, and recommendations to management and the Board.
- Lead project meetings, reviews, and stakeholder engagements.
- Resolve stakeholder concerns promptly and professionally.
Team Leadership
You will:
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams across different business units.
- Establish project objectives, performance targets, and accountability measures.
- Coach, mentor, and develop project team members.
- Promote teamwork, collaboration, and high-performance delivery.
Risk Management
You will:
- Identify project risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Maintain project risk registers and monitor risk exposure.

Qualification Required & Experience
Applicants should possess:
Educational Qualification
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field.
- A Master’s Degree or MBA will be an advantage.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-SP, Agile Project Management, or equivalent qualifications are preferred.
Experience
Applicants must have:
- Eight (8) to twelve (12) years of project management experience.
- At least five (5) years of experience in a senior project leadership role.
- Proven experience managing projects within construction, infrastructure, logistics, energy, industrial operations, or related sectors.
- Demonstrated success delivering complex, high-value projects.
