We are seeking an experienced and strategic Internal Audit Manager to lead our internal audit function. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-oriented professional to strengthen governance, enhance internal controls, and support informed decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

As the Internal Audit Manager, you will:

• Develop and implement the organisation’s annual risk-based internal audit plan.
• Lead and conduct financial, operational, compliance, and systems audits across the organisation.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, governance processes, and risk management frameworks.
• Identify control weaknesses, operational risks, and areas for process improvement, and recommend practical solutions.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports and present findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Monitor the implementation of agreed audit recommendations and follow up on corrective actions.
• Review financial and operational processes to ensure compliance with internal policies, statutory regulations, and industry standards.
• Provide advisory support to management on internal controls, risk management, fraud prevention, and governance best practices.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and compliance reviews.
• Lead, coach, and develop members of the internal audit team to promote high performance and professional growth.
• Support special investigations and management reviews as required.
• Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement throughout the organisation.

Qualification Required & Experience

Applicants should have:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• A professional qualification such as ICA Ghana, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CIA, or an equivalent recognised certification.
• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant internal or external audit experience, including experience in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, internal controls, enterprise risk management, and corporate governance principles.
• Experience in financial analysis, compliance, and regulatory reporting.
