We are seeking a proactive, organised, and detail-oriented Administrative & HR Assistant to support our administrative and human resource functions. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to the efficient day-to-day operations of the organisation while supporting employee engagement and organisational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

As an Administrative & HR Assistant, you will:

  • Provide administrative support to ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of the office.
  • Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and personnel files with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist with recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate communications, and supporting onboarding processes.
  • Prepare employment-related documents, correspondence, reports, and other administrative records.
  • Coordinate staff leave records, attendance, and other HR documentation.
  • Support the planning and delivery of employee training, engagement activities, and internal events.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and administrative resources to ensure smooth office operations.
  • Handle incoming correspondence, telephone enquiries, and visitor reception professionally.
  • Assist with policy implementation and ensure compliance with organisational procedures and employment regulations.
  • Support payroll preparation by maintaining accurate employee information and HR records.
  • Perform other administrative and human resource duties as assigned.

Qualification Required & Experience

Applicants should have:

  • A Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Two (2) to four (4) years of relevant experience in administration, human resources, or a similar role.
  • Good knowledge of HR administration, office management, and administrative procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to handle confidential information professionally.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with people at all levels.
