Key Responsibilities
As an Administrative & HR Assistant, you will:
- Provide administrative support to ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of the office.
- Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and personnel files with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate communications, and supporting onboarding processes.
- Prepare employment-related documents, correspondence, reports, and other administrative records.
- Coordinate staff leave records, attendance, and other HR documentation.
- Support the planning and delivery of employee training, engagement activities, and internal events.
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and administrative resources to ensure smooth office operations.
- Handle incoming correspondence, telephone enquiries, and visitor reception professionally.
- Assist with policy implementation and ensure compliance with organisational procedures and employment regulations.
- Support payroll preparation by maintaining accurate employee information and HR records.
- Perform other administrative and human resource duties as assigned.
Qualification Required & Experience
Applicants should have:
- A Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Two (2) to four (4) years of relevant experience in administration, human resources, or a similar role.
- Good knowledge of HR administration, office management, and administrative procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with people at all levels.
