Job Description

Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site role based in Amasaman for a Mathematics, English, and Social Studies Teacher. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum, ensuring clear learning objectives and appropriate assessment methods. Daily responsibilities include preparing instructional materials, teaching classes, assigning and grading work, providing feedback, and supporting students’ academic and personal growth. The teacher will maintain accurate records of student progress, collaborate with colleagues on curriculum and school initiatives, communicate regularly with parents or guardians, and participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.

Qualifications:
- Strong Social Studies foundation, and Social Studies content knowledge.
- Experience with Lesson Planning and Teaching at the Junior High School level.
- Ability to teach Mathematics and English clearly and confidently, with a focus on core concepts and skills.
- Effective classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with students, colleagues, and families.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject area; teaching certification or license is an advantage.
- Commitment to professional growth, collaboration, ethical conduct, and safeguarding student well-being.
