As the Senior Security Officer, you will provide operational leadership, oversee daily security activities, and ensure the effective implementation of security policies and procedures.

Role Summary

The Senior Security Officer is responsible for supervising security personnel, coordinating daily security operations, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with established security and safety standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in protecting the organization’s people, facilities, and assets while promoting a culture of vigilance and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Security Officer, you will:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel to ensure effective daily operations.
• Monitor security operations and ensure all security procedures are implemented consistently.
• Conduct routine patrols of company premises to identify and address potential security risks.
• Respond promptly to security incidents and coordinate appropriate incident management activities.
• Support investigations by gathering information, documenting incidents, and preparing reports.
• Enforce company security policies, procedures, and access control measures.
• Monitor compliance with workplace health, safety, and security standards.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and performance support to members of the security team.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, patrols, visitor logs, and security activities.
• Identify potential security vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate preventive measures.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external security agencies when required.
• Perform additional duties that contribute to maintaining a safe and secure working environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminology, Criminal Justice, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Relevant professional security certifications will be an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum of five (5) years of operational security experience.
• Demonstrated experience supervising security personnel and managing security operations.
• Experience in incident response, investigations, and access control management is highly desirable.
