Senior Estate Officer (Full-Time)

Location: Accra, Ghana

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Senior Estate Officer to oversee estate operations, maintenance activities, and property improvement projects. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with strong technical knowledge, project supervision skills, and the ability to manage contractors and ensure high-quality service delivery.

As the Senior Estate Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving company facilities while ensuring operational efficiency, safety compliance, and effective project execution.

Role Summary

The Senior Estate Officer is responsible for supervising civil works, building maintenance, and estate improvement projects. The successful candidate will coordinate contractors, monitor project progress, support procurement activities, and ensure all works meet approved quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Estate Officer, you will:

  • Supervise civil works, building maintenance activities, and estate improvement projects.
  • Coordinate contractors, service providers, and project teams to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, review completed works, and ensure compliance with approved specifications.
  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings, facilities, and estate infrastructure to identify maintenance requirements.
  • Ensure all maintenance and construction activities comply with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Prepare project updates, maintenance reports, and recommendations for management review.
  • Support the sourcing and purchasing of materials, equipment, and services required for estate operations.
  • Assist with cost monitoring and ensure efficient use of project resources.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, contractor performance, and project documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve facility standards, operational efficiency, and asset value.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support effective estate management.
  • Perform additional duties that contribute to the smooth operation and maintenance of company facilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Estate Management, Facilities Management, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in estate management, facilities management, construction supervision, or a related field.
  • Proven experience supervising building maintenance projects and civil works.
  • Experience managing contractors and monitoring project delivery.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and material sourcing is an advantage.
