We are seeking enthusiastic and creative Animation Interns to join our team and contribute to exciting multimedia projects.

Job Summary

Paper Merchant Global is looking for talented and motivated Animator Interns to support the design and production of engaging animated content across digital platforms. Working closely with experienced designers, content creators, and marketing professionals, you will gain hands-on experience in animation, motion graphics, and visual storytelling while building a strong professional portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 2D and/or 3D animations for digital and multimedia projects.
• Develop motion graphics for social media, marketing campaigns, presentations, and promotional materials.
• Collaborate with designers, illustrators, video editors, and content creators to produce engaging visual content.
• Assist in storyboarding, concept development, and animation planning.
• Edit and refine animation sequences based on creative feedback.
• Ensure all creative work aligns with the company’s brand guidelines and project objectives.
• Organise and maintain animation assets and project files.
• Stay informed about emerging animation techniques, design trends, and industry best practices.
• Meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of creativity and quality.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Animation, Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating animation, illustration, motion graphics, or related creative work will be an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate, Blender, Cinema 4D, Toon Boom, or similar tools.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Creativity and strong visual storytelling skills.
• Basic understanding of animation principles, timing, and motion.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn, receive feedback, and continuously improve.
