We are seeking a technology-focused, enthusiastic, and supportive Teaching Assistant (Primary Department – ICT) to join our academic team. The successful candidate will work closely with classroom teachers to support ICT instruction, develop students’ digital literacy skills, and create engaging technology-based learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities
As the Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support the Primary ICT teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum.
- Assist in preparing ICT lesson materials, digital resources, practical activities, and classroom exercises.
- Support students in developing essential digital skills, including computer literacy, responsible technology use, and digital awareness.
- Assist learners during practical ICT sessions involving computers, software applications, and digital tools.
- Encourage students to explore technology creatively through problem-solving, research, and digital projects.
- Provide additional learning support to students who require guidance with ICT concepts and practical activities.
- Help maintain a safe, organised, and effective technology learning environment.
- Support classroom management and ensure students follow responsible digital practices.
- Assist the lead teacher in monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate learning records.
- Provide feedback on student participation, learning challenges, and areas requiring additional support.
- Support the setup, organisation, and maintenance of ICT learning resources and equipment.
- Use educational technology tools to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
- Support ICT-related school activities, digital projects, and academic programmes when required.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Diploma in Education or a related education qualification.
- A minimum of two (2) years’ teaching or classroom support experience within the relevant curriculum.
- Strong knowledge of basic ICT concepts, computer applications, and digital learning tools.
- Experience supporting primary-level learners in ICT or computer studies will be an advantage.
- Strong computer literacy and confidence using Microsoft Office applications and educational technology platforms.
- Understanding of child-centred learning approaches and effective classroom support strategies.
