- Lead and oversee the hotel’s daily operations to ensure efficient service delivery and an exceptional guest experience.
- Supervise and coordinate all operational departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Laundry, and Maintenance.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by proactively addressing guest needs and resolving complaints promptly and professionally.
- Recruit, train, mentor, supervise, and evaluate employees to build a high-performing and customer-focused team.
- Monitor occupancy levels, revenue, operating costs, and financial performance to achieve business objectives.
- Develop staff work schedules and ensure adequate staffing across all departments.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, security, and hospitality regulations, policies, and industry standards.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve operational procedures to enhance efficiency, productivity, and guest satisfaction.
- Oversee inventory management, procurement activities, and supplier relationships to support uninterrupted operations.
- Prepare operational and performance reports and provide regular updates to hotel ownership.
- Identify, report, and follow up on maintenance issues to ensure hotel facilities remain safe, functional, and well maintained.
- Foster a positive workplace culture that reflects the hotel’s values, promotes teamwork, and delivers exceptional service standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent industry experience may also be considered.
- A minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in hotel management or a supervisory leadership role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer relationship management skills.
- Sound knowledge of hotel operations, budgeting, revenue management, and guest service excellence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with hotel management systems is an added advantage.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
- High standards of professionalism, integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work weekends, public holidays, and flexible hours to meet operational requirements.
- Willingness to reside in Cape Coast.
Work Schedule
- Full-time position with regular operational working hours.
- The successful candidate must be available to work weekends, public holidays, and flexible hours as required to support hotel operations.
