Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Support the Electrical Engineering team in maintaining, inspecting, and troubleshooting electrical equipment and systems within the plant.
• Assist in preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to ensure the reliable operation of electrical installations.
• Monitor the performance of electrical equipment and report faults or abnormalities for timely resolution.
• Participate in equipment inspections, testing, commissioning, and routine maintenance activities.
• Assist in maintaining electrical documentation, maintenance records, and technical reports.
• Support electrical improvement projects aimed at enhancing plant efficiency, reliability, and energy performance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards during all engineering activities.
• Work collaboratively with mechanical, production, and maintenance teams to support uninterrupted plant operations.
• Assist in monitoring electrical spare parts inventory and maintenance requirements.
• Perform other engineering-related duties assigned by the Electrical Engineering team.

Qualification Required & Experience

Applicants should possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized accredited institution.
• Eligibility to undertake the National Service programme for the 2026/2027 service year.
• Sound understanding of electrical engineering principles, industrial electrical systems, and maintenance practices.
• Basic knowledge of electrical installations, motors, drives, switchgear, control systems, and power distribution.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of AutoCAD, PLCs, SCADA systems, or other electrical engineering software will be an added advantage.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
