Key Responsibilities

Network Infrastructure Installation & Support

• Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including:
  • Wireless and service routers.
  • PoE and non-PoE switches.
  • Indoor and outdoor wireless access points.
  • Network storage systems, including NAS and SAN solutions.
• Install and maintain structured cabling systems, including CAT5/CAT6 network cables.
• Terminate and install network cabinets, patch panels, patch cords, faceplates, and keystone modules.
• Install and configure Point-to-Point (PTP) and Point-to-Multi-Point (PTMP) wireless radio systems.
• Configure and maintain network security solutions, including UTM firewalls, antivirus systems, and endpoint protection.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and provide technical support to users.

Server Infrastructure & System Administration

• Design, install, and maintain server infrastructure.
• Install and configure Windows Server environments from Windows Server 2012 to Windows Server 2025.
• Configure advanced Windows Server services and support system performance.
• Monitor server operations and resolve system-related issues.
• Maintain system reliability, security, and availability.

IP Telephony & Communication Systems

• Install and configure Voice over IP (VoIP) systems.
• Set up and maintain voice gateways, including FXO and FXS systems.
• Configure IP PBX systems with FXO, GSM, and PRI interfaces.
• Install and support SIP phones, including LCD and video-enabled IP phones.
• Troubleshoot communication system issues and ensure reliable service delivery.

Electronic Security Systems

• Install and configure IP surveillance and CCTV systems.
• Set up and maintain access control and time attendance systems.
• Install and configure:
  • Dome cameras.
  • PTZ cameras.
  • Box cameras.
  • Cloud-based cameras.
• Configure PoE switches and Network Video Recorders (NVRs).
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.

Technical Support & Documentation

• Provide timely technical support to clients and internal users.
• Diagnose hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and system configurations.
• Prepare technical reports and service documentation.
• Follow IT security policies and industry best practices.
• Provide professional customer service during all technical engagements.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants must possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience in an IT Technician or similar technical role.
• Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent certifications will be an added advantage.
• Proven experience in network installation, system administration, security systems, and IT support.

Working Conditions

• This role involves both office-based and field-based technical support.
• The position requires standing for extended periods and working in indoor and outdoor environments.
• The role may involve exposure to dusty environments and active project sites.
• The successful candidate must be physically able to:
  • Lift equipment weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Carry equipment weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Push and pull equipment during installations.
  • Climb ladders and stairs while maintaining balance.
  • Perform activities such as cable routing, cutting, chiselling, and installation work.
• Weekend and holiday work may be required based on operational needs.
