Job Summary

As the Communications and Marketing Specialist, you will lead the development and execution of marketing and communication strategies that enhance brand visibility, engage customers, and promote the company’s products, services, events, and campaigns. You will create compelling digital content, manage online communities, and support marketing initiatives that contribute to business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing and Communications

• Develop and implement integrated marketing and communication strategies that support business objectives.
• Plan and execute promotional campaigns for the company’s products, services, events, ticketing services, and travel packages.
• Ensure consistent brand messaging across all communication channels.
• Coordinate marketing initiatives that increase brand awareness and customer engagement.

Digital Marketing and Content Creation

• Develop creative concepts and engaging content for social media campaigns.
• Design, schedule, and publish content across the company’s digital platforms.
• Produce high-quality marketing materials, including graphics, videos, photography, and promotional copy.
• Support photography and videography during events to create compelling visual content.

Customer Engagement

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries, comments, and direct messages across social media platforms.
• Build and nurture positive relationships with online communities.
• Support customer engagement initiatives that enhance the overall customer experience.

Performance Monitoring

• Monitor social media and digital marketing performance using relevant analytics tools.
• Prepare periodic reports highlighting campaign performance and audience engagement.
• Recommend improvements based on performance data, customer insights, and emerging digital trends.

Educational Requirements

Applicants must possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing, or a similar role.

Skills and Competencies

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong content creation and copywriting abilities.
• Good knowledge of social media management platforms and digital marketing tools.
• Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with creative design software.
