Job Summary

As an Assurance Intern, you will support audit and assurance engagements by working closely with experienced professionals and client teams. You will gain practical exposure to audit methodologies, financial reporting, and risk assessment while developing valuable analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills in a dynamic professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities

Client Support

• Collaborate with engagement teams to support audit and assurance assignments.
• Engage with clients to gather financial information and supporting documentation.
• Assist in understanding key transaction cycles and business processes.
• Perform substantive testing and other audit procedures under the guidance of senior team members.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of financial information.
• Prepare working papers and maintain audit documentation in accordance with EY standards.
• Support the team in identifying risks and communicating findings during engagements.

Team Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve engagement objectives.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn.
• Contribute actively to team discussions and knowledge-sharing activities.

Educational Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be currently enrolled in a tertiary institution pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
