The University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) is a public university established by an Act of Parliament (Act 828) in 2011 and began academic operations in 2012. It is Ghana’s first public university dedicated exclusively to health sciences education, research, and community service.
UHAS is committed to training highly skilled health professionals to improve healthcare delivery and advance scientific knowledge in Ghana and beyond. The university operates from multiple campuses in Ho and Hohoe, with specialized schools and institutes focused on various health disciplines.
