We are seeking a skilled and dedicated AC Technician to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of the hotel’s heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.

Position Summary

The AC Technician will install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioning and HVAC systems throughout the hotel. The successful candidate will ensure all cooling systems operate efficiently, respond promptly to maintenance requests, and help maintain a comfortable environment for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

HVAC Installation & Maintenance

• Install, inspect, and maintain air conditioning and HVAC systems across the hotel.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to maximize equipment performance and lifespan.
• Ensure all systems operate efficiently and meet manufacturer specifications.

Repairs & Troubleshooting

• Diagnose faults and carry out timely repairs on air conditioning equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration system issues.
• Replace faulty components and restore equipment to optimal working condition.

Equipment Servicing

• Service air conditioning units according to scheduled maintenance plans.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements where necessary.
• Ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and repair reports.
• Report equipment defects, recurring issues, and maintenance requirements to management.
• Assist in planning preventive maintenance schedules and equipment upgrades.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations while performing maintenance activities.
• Use tools, equipment, and materials safely and responsibly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants must possess:

• A Technical Certificate or equivalent qualification in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, HVAC Technology, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in HVAC installation, servicing, and maintenance.
• Experience in the hospitality, commercial, or facilities management sector will be an added advantage.
