Events Coordinator (Full-Time)

Location: Accra

We are seeking a creative, highly organized, and customer-focused Events Coordinator to join our team and ensure the seamless planning and execution of events.

Job Summary

The Events Coordinator will oversee the planning, coordination, and successful execution of events hosted at the hotel. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality events while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and coordinate corporate, social, and special events from concept to completion.
  • Meet with clients to understand their event requirements, objectives, budgets, and expectations.
  • Develop event plans, schedules, and timelines to ensure efficient execution.
  • Coordinate and manage vendors, suppliers, and service providers to deliver quality event services.
  • Supervise event setup, execution, and breakdown to ensure all activities run smoothly.
  • Collaborate with hotel departments, including Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Front Office, and Maintenance, to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Monitor event budgets and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Address client enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Evaluate event outcomes and prepare post-event reports with recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health and safety standards, and operational procedures.

Qualification Required & Experience

  • Degree or HND in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and project management skills.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple events and priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and event management tools.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or event coordination will be an added advantage.
