Role Overview
The Accountant will play a key role in managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting processes. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong technical accounting skills and in-depth knowledge of Ghanaian tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and statements
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger entries and reconciliations
Ensure full compliance with Ghana tax laws, statutory requirements, and regulatory filings
Prepare and submit tax returns, statutory payments, and related documentation on time
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
Monitor expenditures and revenues to ensure financial sustainability
Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and relevant stakeholders as required
Identify process improvements and contribute to strengthening internal controls
Educational & Professional Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ICA, ACCA, CPA) is an added advantage
Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant accounting experience
Strong and up-to-date knowledge of Ghana tax laws and financial regulations
Skills & Competencies
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Strong ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality
