Role Overview

The Accountant will play a key role in managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting processes. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong technical accounting skills and in-depth knowledge of Ghanaian tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and statements

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger entries and reconciliations

  • Ensure full compliance with Ghana tax laws, statutory requirements, and regulatory filings

  • Prepare and submit tax returns, statutory payments, and related documentation on time

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities

  • Monitor expenditures and revenues to ensure financial sustainability

  • Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and relevant stakeholders as required

  • Identify process improvements and contribute to strengthening internal controls

Educational & Professional Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ICA, ACCA, CPA) is an added advantage

  • Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant accounting experience

  • Strong and up-to-date knowledge of Ghana tax laws and financial regulations

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
