Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance, and support informed decision-making. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial reporting and strengthening internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, examine, and analyze financial records and reports
  • Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Monitor budgets and support financial planning processes
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies
  • Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial transactions
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial processes

Qualifications & Requirements

  • HND, Diploma, or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
