Position Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant with strong treasury management expertise to join our finance team. The successful candidate will oversee financial reporting, cash management, treasury operations, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial planning. This role requires a proactive professional who can deliver accurate financial insights, optimize liquidity, and support sound business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate financial statements, management accounts, and disclosure notes in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and working capital to support efficient business operations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor effective cash management strategies.
- Monitor cash positions, liquidity levels, and investment portfolios to ensure optimal utilization of financial resources.
- Forecast funding requirements and identify appropriate financing and investment opportunities.
- Coordinate annual external audits and serve as the primary liaison with auditors.
- Strengthen and enforce internal control systems across financial operations.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and relevant industry standards.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic financial planning initiatives.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support management decision-making.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Chartered Accountant qualification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification).
- Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
- Demonstrated treasury management experience within a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation, treasury operations, and internal control frameworks.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
