We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to support our financial management processes and contribute to effective financial planning, reporting, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and statements in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Monitor financial transactions and ensure proper documentation and record keeping.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and Ghana Free Zones regulations where applicable.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable records regularly.
- Support internal and external audit processes by preparing required documentation and reports.
- Analyse financial data and provide recommendations to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Monitor cash flow and support effective treasury management activities.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and cost control.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all financial operations and reporting activities.
Educational Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification in Accounting or Finance such as CA, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent qualification is required.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in financial management or accounting.
- Strong knowledge of Ghana Free Zones regulations and financial compliance requirements.
- Experience working within a corporate or multi-sector business environment will be an advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
- Good understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
