Job Description
Accounts/Administrator
Location: Near Winneba/Apam, Central Region, Ghana
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: GHS 2,500 – GHS 3,000 per month
About the Institute
A well-established Vocational and Technical Institute operated by a respected British charitable organisation is seeking an organised, trustworthy, and proactive Accounts/Administrator to support its daily administrative and financial operations.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the institute while maintaining accurate financial records and providing administrative support to management.

Key Responsibilities
Accounts & Finance
- Maintain accurate accounting records and financial documentation.
- Record daily income and expenditure.
- Prepare payment vouchers, receipts, and invoices.
- Reconcile bank accounts and petty cash.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and budgets.
- Process payroll and maintain employee payment records.
- Support external auditors and ensure proper filing of financial documents.
Administration
- Oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of the institute.
- Maintain student and staff records.
- Coordinate procurement of office and training supplies.
- Manage office correspondence, filing systems, and documentation.
- Prepare reports, letters, and meeting minutes.
- Coordinate schedules, appointments, and institutional events.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and administrative procedures.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications & Experience
- HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting, administration, or a similar role.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Experience using accounting software will be an added advantage.
- Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
