The Accounts Officer will manage receivables, payables, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes. The role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to maintain organized financial records while ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Post monthly utilities journals accurately and on time.
- Issue monthly rent and CAM fees VAT invoices.
- Capture rent and CAM invoices into the accounting system.
- Monitor outstanding balances, issue payment reminders, and track collections.
- Issue daily system receipts for all client payments received.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client account records in line with financial policies.
- Perform monthly receivables reconciliations to ensure accurate tenant balances.
- Process supplier invoices and prepare them for payment.
- Reconcile all supplier accounts on a monthly basis.
- Verify transaction documentation, contracts, and reports for compliance.
- Prepare statutory obligations and ensure timely filing and payments.
- Post all month-end journals, including petty cash transactions.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements.
- Organize and maintain financial records (digital and physical).
- Ensure the security and confidentiality of financial records.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports.
- Support internal audits and year-end audits with accurate documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in a similar role (real estate experience is an advantage).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software such as SAP or ERP systems.
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, ledger management, and collections processes.
- Good understanding of financial regulations and documentation requirements.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for both internal and external engagement.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
