Role Summary

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and community-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide essential operational support for CIHR programs. The successful candidate will ensure smooth coordination of logistics, maintain accurate records, and serve as a key point of contact for community engagement activities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics for community health drives and resilience workshops, including procurement and distribution of essential supplies
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of community outreach activities and beneficiary data
  • Organize, file, and manage program documentation to ensure easy retrieval and accuracy
  • Serve as the first point of contact for community members, partners, and stakeholders, responding to inquiries professionally
  • Support petty cash management and assist with basic financial tracking and reporting
  • Assist in the smooth execution of field activities and program operations
  • Ensure timely communication between field teams and program coordinators
  • Promote efficient administrative processes that support community program delivery

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or any related field
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in community-based environments
  • Basic knowledge of financial tracking or petty cash management will be an advantage
  • Willingness to work across assigned locations: Kasoa, Prampram, Ada, and Kumasi
