Job Description

AgriXpress is seeking motivated and responsible Administrative Sales Personnels to support the management of agricultural marketplace operations and customer order coordination within assigned markets.

Position Overview

The Administrative Sales Personnel will be responsible for managing incoming orders from consumers and buyers within a designated market area, ensuring smooth coordination between buyers, sellers, logistics operators, and pickup or delivery points. The role requires strong communication, coordination, and follow-up skills to ensure timely processing and successful fulfillment of orders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accept and manage incoming orders from consumers and buyers within the specific market assigned to you.
  • Take responsibility for the day-to-day coordination and management of the assigned market area.
  • Ensure that all customer orders placed within the market are properly received, acknowledged, and processed by the respective administrative sales personnel.
  • Follow up with sellers, producers, and suppliers to ensure that purchased products are prepared, processed, and transported to the designated pickup locations.
  • Coordinate with logistics and transport personnel to ensure efficient handling and movement of orders.
  • Monitor order fulfillment processes and ensure that deliveries are completed in a timely and professional manner.
  • For home delivery or DSA delivery options, take primary responsibility for resolving delivery challenges and arranging alternative delivery solutions when necessary.
  • Maintain communication between buyers, sellers, and logistics operators to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Support inventory coordination, order tracking, and marketplace administration activities where required.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum qualification: Senior Secondary School (SSS/SHS) graduate
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple orders and delivery activities simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and follow up proactively with suppliers and logistics operators
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketplace systems, logistics coordination, or sales administration is an advantage
  • Experience in agriculture, agribusiness, retail coordination, logistics, or customer service is an added advantage

Preference will be given to candidates located close to major market centres in Accra, including:

  • Kaneshie
  • Madina
  • Kasoa
  • Anyaa
  • Nima
  • Dome
  • and other principal market locations within Accra and surrounding areas.
