Aquaculture Attendant (Full-Time)

Location: Eastern Region

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Aquaculture Attendant to join our team in the Eastern Region and support our growing aquaculture operations.


Position Summary

The Aquaculture Attendant will support daily fish farming operations, including feeding, pond maintenance, monitoring fish health, and maintaining accurate records. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth hatchery and pond operations while upholding high standards of safety and environmental responsibility.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily feeding of fish and monitor feeding responses.

  • Support pond preparation, cleaning, and maintenance activities.

  • Monitor fish health and report any abnormalities promptly.

  • Assist in harvesting, grading, and stocking activities.

  • Maintain accurate notes and production records.

  • Support water quality monitoring under supervision.

  • Follow biosecurity and safety protocols at all times.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of aquaculture facilities.


Qualifications and Requirements

Educational Requirement:

  • Senior High School Certificate or equivalent.

  • Preferred: Certificate or Diploma in Aquaculture, Fisheries Science, or a related field.

Experience and Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in general fish farming operations.

  • Basic swimming ability.

  • Experience in note-taking and record keeping.

  • Ability to work outdoors and perform physically demanding tasks.

  • Strong teamwork and willingness to learn.
