Position Overview

Wilmar Africa Ltd seeks a highly organized, hands-on, and service-oriented Expat Residence & Facilities Manager to oversee the full operation of its expatriate accommodation facility. The successful candidate will ensure a seamless, comfortable, and professional living environment for both long-stay and short-term residents.

This role combines facility management, hospitality operations, vendor coordination, and maintenance oversight in a high-standard, multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities

Residence & Guesthouse Operations

• Oversee daily operations of the expatriate guesthouse, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
• Manage room allocation, occupancy planning, and guest experience for long-term and short-term residents.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, comfort, and functionality across all residential areas.
• Ensure a consistent and professional living experience for all occupants.

Facilities & Maintenance Management

• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical, plumbing, and civil works.
• Ensure all facilities, appliances, and equipment remain fully operational at all times.
• Respond promptly to maintenance issues and coordinate urgent repairs.
• Maintain safe, functional, and well-maintained residential infrastructure.

Vendor & Service Management

• Liaise with service providers including catering, laundry, cleaning, repairs, and utilities.
• Establish, monitor, and enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for quality and turnaround time.
• Ensure vendor accountability, cost efficiency, and service reliability.

Hospitality & Service Delivery

• Oversee end-to-end service delivery including housekeeping, catering, laundry, and accommodation services.
• Ensure a high-quality, consistent hospitality experience for all residents.
• Address resident concerns promptly and professionally.

Compliance, Reporting & Administration

• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and company facility standards.
• Maintain accurate records of occupancy, maintenance activities, and operational expenses.
• Provide regular reports on facility performance, costs, and operational issues.

Education & Experience

• Minimum of First Degree or HND in any discipline.
• Proven experience in facility management, hospitality operations, or property management.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance works.
• Experience managing vendors and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Technical certification in facilities or maintenance management is an advantage.
